We plan to achieve our vision by setting quality standards for micro generation products and installers, raising public awareness of renewables through education and engagement programmes and by promoting study and funding research into renewable and low carbon technology in order to drive innovation and widespread adoption. MCS Charitable Foundation is now the sole shareholder for MCS (Microgeneration Certification Scheme), the nationally recognised quality assurance scheme which demonstrates the quality and reliability of approved products and installation companies.

Established as an independent entity in 2019 by Quadrature Capital, QCF aims to tackle our most urgent environmental issue – the climate emergency. QCF does not aim to take a traditional path to mitigating this crisis; rather, we believe our role is to disrupt the current trajectory, support those that have already or have the potential to demonstrate progress and design and execute high impact approaches.
