We equip the climate movement with the skills, knowledge, and networks to drive systems change

What we do:

  • Living Learning Environments

    We run functional Guilds and Communities of Practice which nurture collaboration and knowledge sharing across business functions to encourage continuous, peer-to-peer learning. Members also have access to a pool of best-in-class coaches, mentors and advisors.

  • Learning Programmes

    We run two dedicated Learning Programmes - Changemaking & Resilient Organisations - designed to equip climate-focused organisations and individuals with the knowledge, capacity, networks and resilience to enact lasting impact.

  • Impact Lab

    We run thematic missions which convene and fund not-for-profits collaborating to drive transformation in key climate sectors. Past missions have included: Heat, Land & Agriculture, and Energy.

  • Community & Thematic Events

    Our global community of members benefit from a range of community activities, including thematic events, panels, book discussions, quarterly socials, and monthly climate sanghas to build internal resilience.

Programmes

We run two programmes: the Changemaking Programme and the Resilient Organisations Programme. These programmes are specific, time-bound learning journeys, designed to equip participants with new insights and tools, after which alumni remain part of the Subak community, continuing to grow through our guilds and shared networks of support.

Impact Lab

We run thematic missions which convene and fund not-for-profits collaborating to drive transformation in key climate sectors. Past missions have included: Heat, Land & Agriculture, and Energy. Our approach involves:

  • Convene & Facilitate

    Convening & facilitating collaboration between leading actors working on a shared climate challenge

  • Map & Pinpoint

    Working together to map the system and pinpoint sensitive intervention points that could lead to significant system-level impact

  • Fund & Support

    Providing re-grant funding & mission support to incubate emerging initiatives

Community

We create an enabling environment for global changemakers to connect authentically and mutually develop. We believe being in community and working  holistically and collaboratively is a critical part of creating living systems change. We believe in the power and potential of having a dynamic space, tribe, and a community that fosters learning, innovation and, crucially, resilience.

We run monthly climate sanghas supporting individual healing and resilience, authentic sharing and mindful activism within the global climate community, as well as quarterly ecosystem wide socials, monthly community lunches, and spaces for learning and connection both online and in-person.
